PADI Master Instructor
Achieving the PADI
Master Instructor rating means you’ve have obtained one of the highest
instructor achievements and be identified as an individual who is experienced
in providing an entire range of PADI programs to students.
To earn the PADI Master
Instructor certification, you need to:
- Have been an instructor member of PADI for at least two years.
- Have successfully completed a sanctioned program in CPR within the past 36
months.
- Be renewed as a MEDIC
FIRST AID® INSTRUCTOR
- Be a renewed PADI
Master Scuba Diver Trainer.
- Be a renewed PADI
IDC Staff Instructor, and have attended three PADI Instructor
Development Seminars.
- Have certified at least 150 students to the PADI Open Water Diver
level and higher, including PADI Specialty Diver, Advanced Open Water or
Advanced Plus, EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONSE®, Rescue Diver, Divemaster and
Assistant Instructor certifications.
- Use the complete PADI System of diver education, generally support
PADI in diver education, issue primarily PADI certifications and conduct
all levels of diver training consistent with PADI philosophy.
